Can mosques use Miqat?

Yes. The Mosque / Masjid plan is designed for mosques and masjids managing local events, announcements, and community engagement — including the optional Miqat Access door-control module.
What counts as a verified nonprofit?

A verified nonprofit may be a registered charity, Islamic school, dawah organization, community center, or other nonprofit organization that Miqat has reviewed and approved. Submit your organization for verification from the dashboard; the Verified Nonprofit plan and verification badge become available once approved.
Can businesses or conference organizers use Miqat?

Yes. Businesses, conference organizers, professional associations, training providers, and larger event organizers should use the Organization / Business plan.
Are Stripe fees included?

No. Stripe processing fees are charged separately by Stripe and are not part of the Miqat monthly plan. Standard Stripe rates apply on tickets and donations.
Can I accept donations?

Yes, when donations are enabled for your organization and Stripe Connect is set up. Donation receipts use safe wording — tax-deductibility depends on the organization's status, and Miqat does not automatically claim that a donation is tax-deductible.
Can I sell tickets?

Yes. Paid ticketing is available once Stripe Connect is configured for your organization and your plan supports it. Free RSVPs work on every plan without Stripe.
Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do nonprofits need verification?

Yes. The Verified Nonprofit plan and verification badge require approval by Miqat. Submit your organization for verification from the dashboard once you have an account.
